Discouragement sets in, when a fighting troop realizes that we don’t win wars!
We merely spend our young men to die to sell more armaments!
I was in the Central Texas Region for years, and loved it, except for one doctor whose English comprehension was horrible. Otherwise , the care I received was outstanding, including two surgeries.
I moved into the South Texas Region, and have been ignored, at best, and considered an interruption to the doctor’s busy day, at worst. My latest appointment was canceled, without explanation or rescheduling. It is so bad I’m considering getting civilian health insurance.
I think for many, life in the military is a good thing. The military takes care of their life’s needs and gives each one directions. Those who leave the military have to cope with life’s needs using their own resources. Some are not equipped to do that and sink into a deep depression as failure rules the day. The military needs to help those out on their own learn how to do for themselves. Many joined the military because they had no idea how to take care of themselves. Maybe the military can show them the way.
