Until they put a studied and believable date or season to the birth of Christ, the pagan solstice holiday that we celebrate as the birth of Christ is a mockery, and will continue as such.

I knew an elder man who's birthday was celebrated on Jan. 1st because he was adopted and no one knew what time of year he was born. He's long since past, but his offspring remember him on Jan 1st still.
If you'd like I can call them and tell them that they're horribly evil for thinking of their father on the day much of the rest of the country is hungover from New Year's Eve. I said "I can call them". I didn't say I would. LOL
