Where have you been, William Webster?

William Webster, former director both the CIA and FBi weighed in on some of Trump's nominations.

A former director of the CIA and FBI penned a letter expressing concerns over President-elect Donald Trump’s picks of Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel to lead intelligence agencies.

William Webster, a Republican, is the only person to have led both the CIA and FBI, serving under the administrations of former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. In a letter to senators on Thursday, Webster expressed concern about Gabbard becoming the next director of national intelligence and Patel being the next FBI director, arguing they do not meet the needs of such posts.

“While Mr. Patel’s intelligence and patriotism are commendable, his close political alignment with President Trump raises serious concerns about impartiality and integrity,” Webster wrote. “Statements such as ‘He’s my intel guy’ and his record of executing the president’s directives suggest a loyalty to individuals rather than the rule of law — a dangerous precedent for an agency tasked with impartial enforcement of justice.”

Impartial? Impartial went out the window a long time ago. And that's the thing. Where has he been?  He wasn't kind to Gabbard either.
“Effective management of our intelligence community requires unparalleled expertise to navigate the complexities of global threats and to maintain the trust of allied nations,” Webster, 100, wrote. “Without that trust, our ability to safeguard sensitive secrets and collaborate internationally is severely diminished. … This is no time in world history for a novice in the field to learn this role.”
Kash Patel worked in the Obama administration. Gabbard has been in the military for 20 years.
“Effective management of our intelligence community requires unparalleled expertise to navigate the complexities of global threats"
This sounds like gobbledygook. And this really gets me-
“While Mr. Patel’s intelligence and patriotism are commendable, his close political alignment with President Trump raises serious concerns about impartiality and integrity,”
He's suggesting that Patel is patriotic but is lacking integrity???? Let's have at some of this BS.  Webster endorsed Biden, for one, but there are a million questions he should address.

Where was Webster when John Brennan was spying on Congress and lying about it?

Where was Webster when Biden signaled Garland to prosecute Trump?

Where was Webster when the FBI abused FISA 278,000 times?

Where was Webster when Obama had Trump tower bugged?

Where was Webster when Strzok and Page promised to stop Trump from being elected?

It’s one thing to run day to day operations at the agencies, particularly hiring and firing. It’s quite another to be the President’s guy charged with cleanup of the overall intelligence capability.

I’m betting that’s Devin Nunes.

Webster is 100 years old; I doubt he is writing much of anything. This was probably written for him by some Deep State hack.

“ and his record of executing the president’s directives suggest a loyalty to individuals rather than the rule of law — a dangerous precedent for an agency tasked with impartial enforcement of justice.””

The old fool. The president is literally the head the DOJ and their subordinate bureau, the FBI. Where the hell do they get the idea that they are independent of the president?
A president can order an investigation stated, stopped, or even conduct it himself.

And this ass was utterly silent at the rampant politicization of the FBI for the past 15 years.

Webster’s condemnation of Tulsi Gabbard is a glowing recommendation as to why she should be confirmed. Webster’s was more instrumental than anyone to consolidate the CIA/FBI power grab in the last 4 decades.

It’s not hard to get a 101 year old person to sign a letter in his name. Be nice if one of the Senators would actually MEET with Webster, to see if he even knows how his name is being used at this point.

Same place he always was. He believes the FBI and CIA are independent and SETS national policy. To hun they are beyond oversight.

The hacks are standing behind him. Wife Lynda believes the lie.

This is what spiritual deception looks like on a persons face.

Nails it...... The president is literally the head the DOJ and their subordinate bureau, the FBI.

Where do these agencies get the inane idea that they are independent of the president?

“Set ‘em straight, Don.”

“Where the hell do they get the idea that they are independent of the president?”

This is clear Progressive ideology, in order to circumvent the restrictions and power balancing of the Constitution.

It was theorized and put into effect by Progressives over the last hundred years.

Dude is 100 years old.

In 2020, Webster, along with over 130 other former Republican national security officials, signed a statement that asserted that President Trump was unfit to serve another term

Webster is only fit to drop another runny deuce in his adult diaper, like his hero Pedo Joe Brib'em.

The really sad thing, Webster probably still has his old clearance privileges, even at age 100. Now that’s the deep state.

Watch as these CIA and FBI clowns believe they are superior to the orders of the President, and should be a sort of check and balance over the presidency.

Now reconsider JFK. They murdered him him. There is no smoking gun signed operation order somewhere. They used enough cutouts. But they clearly did it.
It’s so obvious that nothing else is even worth considering.

Living proof that appointing a judge, especially one who has never had any connection with the FBI as director is a bad idea.

That said, Louie Freeh, a former federal judge - but also a former FBI agent and AUSA - was not so bad.

Where was he? In the top floor office standing in front of a mirror, wearing a black robe, chanting “I’m a judge, I’m a judge..”
