Democracy is overrated. It is not for everyone. Sometimes it is poison.
>>Their culture just isn’t there yet.<<
Maybe in the next millennium they’ll catch up:

Better safe than sorry.
Yet another murderous, Arab, Islamic, dictatorial, unstable regime falls by the wayside.
Israel always rightfully claims that she is the only pluralistic and Democratic (read: stable) country in the region and the Leftist West brushes this off due to Anti-Semitism and PLO/PALEOstinian propaganda.
Where were the mass protests against Assad a decade ago. Human rights? Where in the Arab world are there human rights?
Israel has managed to weaken the Axis of Evil all on her own AFTER being attacked. Let’s hope the regime in Iran collapses without them using their nukes.
Israel gave up this territory as a buffer to be guarded by international observers. The International observers have been attacked by Islamist rebels, needed Israel to save them, and left. So Israel is reclaiming the territory to keep ISIS Lite from gaining high ground over Israel and to protect Syrian Druze. Israeli Druze want to protect their kin.
Gotta love Netanyahu.. outstanding leadership.
It’s highly overrated America’s Founders despised it for good reason
The gaslighting continues, even at red state.
The establishment failed to accept that Syria LOST the Golan in '67 and negotiated .
AFAIC the Golan is Israeli territory, and with the relinquishing of the Sinai should have come the movement of the enemies in gaza and west bank there in the interest of Israeli security.
But that's just me...
The Syria the deal was made with no longer exists - there is no longer a deal to “abrogate”....
“… AFAIC the Golan is Israeli territory…”

Yes, President Trump formally recognized the Golan Heights as an integral part of Israel by proclamation during his presidency.
bkmk
I do not recall that. Interesting.
