It was. A huge bunch of us in my wife's family traveled down from Detroit to Florida for a wedding with the groom's family from Brazil just before the "outbreak". A week or so afterwards a bunch of people including my wife and I were sick. She tested positive, I was sick for one day.

As the B.S. media poured on the hype and panic, I became more and more a sceptic that we were being played. Then the news media started saying you can't have natural immunity and you're in danger unless you get the experimental vaccine. And even to this day they're still trying to promote and shame people into unproven and questionable vaccines. Obviously there's a lot of money floating around here that has little if anything to do with health risks.

On 1/25 my daughter came down with something, she works in the hospital emergency room, I spent the day with her. A couple days later I git a funny feeling, not sick, just a little off. The next day it was gone but everyone else was sick as a dog. I haven’t been sick since 1969
