How Trump Voters Learned To Love, and Turn Out, the Mail-In Ballot
Real Clear Politics ^ | Philip Wegmann

Very interesting article on how the Trump Campaign used Marc Elias’s tactics against the Democrats to help win the election, instead of fighting the idea of early voting and mail in ballots the Republicans led by Trump campaign insiders and Republican grassroots organizations around the country worked together and embraced early voting and mail in ballots to give Trump the winning edge in the battleground states

“Once you have mail-in ballots, you have crooked elections.”

Yes, mail-in ballots makes election crooked,
They should be eliminated, together with early voting and ballot harvesting.
But, as long they are legal, I guess, we need to use them.

Anyway, despite the reversal, Dems are still the early voting masters, just not that much!

We need to do more of this for down ballots, and make voter integrity a top issue. In House race 45 in Ca , Dem candidate Tran has flipped a seat after 3 weeks of counting and taken the lead and race from GOP congresswoman Steel by 500 votes, out of 300,000 votes. My daughter’s vote and many others were disallowed as they said her signature did not match previous signature for voting (in a state that forbids id-you take out your id and they looks away like dracula looking at sunlight) My daughter caught it only because she tracks her vote, idk if her vote will be counted because earlier this week they said still pending.

Any time it takes more than 24-36 hours to count all votes and certify the winner you know there is cheating going on

I tried to find the numbers on the popular vote. Didn’t Trump get 74 million in 2020 and 71 million in 2024. The only difference was Biden’s fraud vote of 81 million was gone. If those are the numbers doesn’t that mean the mail in voting made no difference at all? Are my numbers wrong? The only lesson to be learned is end the fraud.

Would someone please explain something to me.

If you don’t trust the USPS enough to send cash through the mail...

Then why in God’s name would you entrust it with something as precious as your vote?!?

Presidential and Congressional race elections should be held separately on different days.

I agree, I’ve never voted absentee or used mail in voting, I vote early but it’s always in person. In Florida, the mail in voting requires you prove your identity first in order to get a ballot, you can drop it off at designation locations which are in voting precincts under constant supervision.

They don’t love it.

But if they’re the bad rules by which the election is operated, they’re going along with the bad rules.

EVERY LAST California House seat race that was close AT ALL, broke for the Democrats after 21+ days of counting.

EVERY LAST ONE.

California has citizen ballot initiatives, it would be nice to see if someone put together a ballot initiative that was very simple, you must show an ID to vote and you must prove you are a citizen.

If those two things pass, it would a long way to change the election system in California.

Hoist, not hoisted.

It's already happened. Past tense. Hoisted.

Hoist is the past tense of hoise.

The verb “hoise,” which the OED describes as obsolete or dialectal, had two different past tenses and past participles: “hoised” and “hoist.”

Ah, obsolete. I can see why you would prefer that usage.

That’s great information but it doesn’t address the point I was asking about. If the mail in voting operation was so great why did the vote totals for Trump go down. In fact, the facts you cite support the opposite. Trump made great strides with many different voting groups how come his overall totals did not grow? As I said I may have the totals wrong.

The word "hoist" is the past tense of "hoise", which means "to raise or lift".
