I’m convinced that the Crooks assassin was honey trapped. Cherchez la femme.
“who were over the age of 18 at the time”
Again, no evidence of interaction via texts, photos or payments to anyone actually under the age of 18. Just the word of two adult women paid to lie on their backs or with their mouths.
This is a “Scandal for Dummies”.
U R Half right. Jerry Springer wrote a BAD check (meaning it bounced) to a hooker. It’s a prerequisite in dem circles
I am going to deviate further from the subject at hand for a post, if that is okay...
I love the completely unexpected things on this website that make me laugh. Sometimes it is something coarse, sometimes it is about something that people generally don't laugh much about, and sometimes it is just someone making a point in an absurd and unexpected way that makes me appreciate the gigantic variability in human perception and communication on just about any subject. This one below I took the time to copy, because it made me snort with laughter when I read it...
The thread was about marriage, and some people simply aren't cut out for marriage or whatever, and other people telling them how it is essential to human happiness, and this post was from someone who was arguing against marriage when someone told him he was going to die alone because he never got married:
"...Oh wait, the dreaded “you’ll die alone” thing.
Got news for you, half of all married people “die alone”. Usually chicks when the man dies earlier. An argument can be made that everyone dies alone anyway. It ain’t a team sport.
And it appears you have never spoken to anyone about older guys in senior centers. It’s like 20 to 1. Those geezers are fighting off waves of old women like a machine gunner in the Pusan Perimeter..."
I don't know just exactly why I find it hilarious while others might find it it offensive, but...my sense of humor does tend to be quite twisted. My wife rolls her eyes at me a lot. This graphic below was a real thing, happened near where I live, and while the circumstances are not at all funny, it just hit my funny bone that someone actually did this:
The back story was (and this is true) that the downtown area had a rejuvenation planned and in that expectation, they had thought enough ahead to ask the highway department to put one of those "Attractions-Exit 5" signs up and intended to fill it in later with all kinds of good things.
The economy went south, and the rejuvenation never happened...and the years dragged on. The blank sign promising attractions remained mockingly blank, and perhaps someone just had enough.
One day, someone who was bored, frustrated, or just looking to pull a prank went up onto that highway with a cutout of that white reflective material with the sticky backing and put that on the blank blue sign.
I think what I found most amusing was the vision in my mind of Dad in the family station wagon, wife in the passenger seat, kids in the back, and they approach that sign. Dad is probably trying to pretend he didn't see it, Mom audibly sucks in a breath, and one of the kids says "Can we stop and go there?". Upon hearing that, Dad blows a snot onto his jacket trying not to laugh, and Mom sends a poisonous glance his way!
Honestly, there isn't much funny about a politician involved with payoffs, but hey-cutting off a leg to count the rings to ensure the woman is of the age of sexual consent was probably the most unexpected way of expressing that concept of determining the age of the female!
Day-yum - great post! :)
Back to the subject at hand...
It looks like he was being blackmailed and they kept asking him for more money, or...he was paying them off over time and trying to disguise the payments with “car deductible” and notes like that.
He was single at the time. This absolutely looks like an orchestrated political honeypot more than a sexual blackmail thing to me. I think the blackmail aspect was an add-on.
Pusan Perimeter... LOL another classic!
The guy who framed him was charged with falsification of documents such as ID cards (he was in the tax collectors office and Florida tax collectors also issue ID cards). How hard would it be to make false receipts? The DOJ apparently didn’t find them credible, and Gaetz’s travel records don’t match the accuser’s claims.
I’ve heard parts of Candace Owen’s video about this same extortion plan. I wish Gaetz had fought it out, but I guess trying to explain the complicated circumstances that started back when Bush was president and involving the CIA and FBI was going to take up too much time. Hopefully, he has another avenue to fight the swamp.
I remember when the New York Times article broke, and how a number of FReepers took it as factual and condemned Gaetz.
Never, ever believe the New York Times.
Yep. Real scum. I heard Candice Owen’s on this.
