Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees might seem alarming to Democrats, but their plans to dismantle government bureaucracy are far more difficult to execute than they claim. Bill O'Reilly tells NewsNation's "CUOMO" that Trump just wants people in his Cabinet that will do exactly as he tells them to do.

Bill O'Reilly gives his take on what to expect from a second Trump administration. He predicts an administration that will be much more effective at implementing Trump's agenda. O'Reilly claims that Trump is appointing cabinet secretaries who will be following orders, not setting policy.

He compares Trump 2.0 to the Roosevelt Presidency in which Roosevelt and a small group of close advisers, known as "the brain trust" set policy and then instructed the departments to implement it.

For those who, like myself, were concerned over the Bondi pick, O'Reilly's take is encouraging to hear.

Biden tried that brain trust idea.

His deteriorating brain plus the combined cabinet and advisors’ brains was enough to convert into electricity to power a flickering night light for two minutes.

O’Reilly misses the point, entirely.

His cabinet picks are not “Trump yes men”. They are folks that agree with Trump alot and thus have the same aims as Trump.

For his book The United States of Trump: How the President Really Sees America (September, 2019) O’Reilly interviewed Trump.
He said he was convinced Trump would be fixed upon revenge, especially against the California Dems.

Music to my ears except they stole the election from him——until now.

>>This a-hole again?

Who cares if he’s an a-hole? He has a lot of contacts. He’s been in the business for 40 years and what he’s saying, in this instance, makes sense.

Yes, it’s well known that Presidents should have cabinets that argue with them about everything and constantly try to thwart their plans.

His point is that Trump’s not going to just leave it to chance and hope that his cabinet picks push through his agenda. They’re going to be more like administrators following his instructions rather than autonomous department heads.

“They’re going to be more like administrators following his instructions rather than autonomous department heads.”

His point is wrong. Trump will not have to issue lots of detailed instructions, telling them what to do on everything. His Cabinet people will merely be on the same page as Trump, as far as their common MAGA agenda. Beyond sharing the same MAGA agenda as Trump they will be otherwise as autonomous and independent as any President’s Cabinet folks have been.

He’s a blowhard. He used to profess to be some Biblical expert. He would discuss the book of “RevelationS”. And “the church at ‘Thessalonia’”. 🙄
