The Munn family, of Borger, Texas, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge, acknowledging they spent nearly an hour inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, including time in a private Senate conference room. Members of the family are accused of bragging about their roles on Jan. 6, or of misrepresenting the size and scope of the attack and damage. One of the five is accused of blaming police. Gee, I didn't know any of that was illegal.
What law on the books did they break?

Yes. How can bragging be a crime.

I guess I had better lawyer up.
Years ago I was part of a small group that entered the Capital building through an open door. We were escorted by a Capitol Police officer into rooms where we met with senators and congressmen to try and influence their votes.
We did the same thing in the White House.
