A Plan for Donald Trump on North Korea
National Interest ^ | 11/8/2024 | Harry J. Kazianis

While it might not dominate the headlines right now, the issue of North Korea and its growing nuclear weapons and missile programs remains in what seems like a forever limbo. Clearly, at some point, Donald Trump will have to deal with Pyongyang, confronting an unsettling fact: North Korea will never give up its nuclear weapons or advanced missiles.

But that doesn’t mean all is lost, nor does the world need to accept a nuclear North Korea that will continue onward toward evermore advanced weapons platforms that could be sold to the highest bidder. While it isn’t optimal politically, a strategically sound compromise that stops Pyongyang from creating and deploying new atomic and missile technology is within reach. Rolling back some of this nuclear missile program might also be possible.

Whatever he does, he needs to do it now. The thing I hope the most is that he encourages space travel and settlement. If we can get off this planet, we can leave many of the dregs behind.

North Korea is a tool of China.

To ‘resolve’ North Korea involves engagement with China, and China will use their tool to manipulate the US wherever and whenever possible.

China really doesn’t care about the Norks per se, but it is a tool to try to bring the South Koreans into the fold, as part of their new “Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere”.

It’s ridiculous to think the Chinese really want the Norks controlling the whole peninsula.

Also, South Korea and China don’t want millions of Nork refugees coming over their borders, as would happen if the situation there destabilized.

Make it a buy back program. One bushel of wheat for one device. The libs love buy back programs so everyone should be happy with this.

You and I won’t be there, and there won’t be a United States of America in space, ever, we and ours and our great nation are still here on earth and still need our attention and focus to survive.

A strong possibility since the country is in an even worse famine than the last. That may be why they sent troops to Russia- to get food in trade and let the Russians feed them for a while.
