I believe the left changed the narrative on the rioters to seditionists. And they set the standard for locking them up without trial for years. I mean fair is fair.

Sorry, but the Dems are still in power through January 20, 2025. Including over the military (Commander in Chief Joseph Robinette Biden reporting for duty). The armed forces and National Guard do not shy away from top quality weapons.
The setup of envious, eunuch military generals like Milley and Kelly who hate Trump will lead to using the military might of the US to attack the registered Republicans. The Liz Cheney type cowards who trusted the new Leftist dictators to kill them last will be in the gulags with us.

Point taken, but I suspect that the actual ratio of prog guns/conservative guns is much, much less than you imagine.
On balance, war is unlikely. The Left will no doubt demonstrate and agitate if Trump wins, but without mass grievance due to a racial incident, economic hardship, or conscription, their efforts will not have broad appeal. That leaves the limited potential for terrorism, most likely with the participation of foreign actors. Yet that would consolidate support for Trump.
I hope you are wrong, but what you suggest is indeed one possibility among many.

But imagine the Left after losing to Trump. “We tried our darndest but lost and we will unite with you Republicans to improve our great nation. We are the loyal opposition so come to us to cooperate on passing bipartisan bills.”

I suspect they will be some form of Gobernment militia like Antifa. It won’t help them. Best advice is to suck it up and slither home.
