I’ve never been, but don’t they sell cards that cover the cost of meals and snacks?
I won’t go because I hate crowds.
When our kids were young we took them to Disney in California and my in laws brought their two sons. We all enjoyed ourselves. That was a long time ago. We didn’t need cards. It was crowded but bearable then. No way I would go now.
Been once to Disney World in FL. My BIL & sister took me & wife. This was early December in the evening. The crowds were all packed along the main routes waiting for the big parades, 2 per night. Not many folks around otherwise.
We walked up and got directly on the rides at Splash Mountain & Thunder Mountain. Had about a 10 minute wait at the ghost house thing Had about a 15 minute wait at Small World, which my BIL cruelly insisted on because he knew we’d never get the Small World song out our heads, thought about it for days afterwards.
I know Disney World is The Enemy. If you have to go, I’d suggest the Christmas season in the evening when 90% of the customers are jammed around the main streets in the park. And the fireworks show late at night was great also.
I won’t go because it’s Disney.
Haven’t been in years, and I won’t go back because of the woke, LIEberal stink!
You might save a little bit that way but not much. They’ll probably charge you for a dinner on your card for that slice of cake.
My understanding was that a lot of these vendors are 3rd party — so they pay Disney a ton for the right to set up shop in the park and it’s up to them to recover their investment.
