Michigan’s Dirty Democrats Pass 4 NEW Election Bills Including Radical Lottery-Style RANKED CHOICE VOTING, Court Appointed Election Monitors and THEFT of Election Control From Local Clerks

Michigan’s Democrat-controlled Senate passed a package of four DIRTY election bills yesterday, referred to as the “State Voting Rights Act.”

The bills, now heading to the Democrat-controlled House, have stirred controversy among critics asserting they represent a significant state government takeover of elections and threaten election integrity on a number of fronts, not the least of which is the special treatment afforded to “protected classes” of people. In addition, Senate Bills 401 through 404 shift control of elections from the legislature to the state’s courts and executive branch, giving the secretary of state unprecedented power over local governments.

For example, SB 401 empowers court-appointed monitors to oversee local elections, opens the door to ranked-choice voting, and forces local governments to notify the SOS office before changing even the location of a ballot drop box. It also funds the expenses of candidates from protected classes to run for office.

Patrice Johnson, Chair of Pure Integrity Michigan Elections (PIME), described the bills as a major blow to election integrity. “Under the auspices of equity, these bills create favored ‘protected classes,’” she said. “They give the state judicial and executive branches of government authoritarian control over local jurisdictions and minimize the role of duly elected legislators. They use taxpayer dollars to fund the government takeover.”

Johnson highlighted SB 401’s introduction of the Michigan Voting Rights Assistance Fund. “This bill creates a bottomless pit of funding for lawfare against local governments and citizens. The funds come from taxpayer dollars and ‘charitable contributions or from any other source,’” she said. “This is tantamount to welcoing dark money and institutionalizing banana republic corruption. Plus, the funds remain separate in perpetuity.”

forces local governments to notify the SOS office .... the location of a ballot drop box.

So the location can be swept for surveillance cameras, no doubt.

quote “it also funds the expenses of candidates from protected classes to run for office”

that will never pass constitutional muster, that is flat out discrimination.

>> shift control of elections from the legislature to the state’s courts and executive branch

wouldn’t that be in violation of the US Constitution?

So... it’s too close to the election to remove RFK, Jr from the ballots but not too close to change election laws?

Show the demographics of the politicians that are pushing this bill. Maybe then people will recognize the true enemy.

Yeah, after the election! Then it’s too late.

Like when Harry Reid was confronted about lying about Romneys taxes. His reply: “It worked didn’t it!”.

If Michigan is a blue state, why does Deep State need to steal its elections...? 🤔

as I’ve said, the election will be determined in the blue states where voting laws are specifically for cheating.

I went to a town meeting a few months ago, and in the context of discussion to approve 450 units of low income housing in our town of 10,000 the Select Board repeatedly referred at least three times to "Protected Classes".

Then a veteran got up and asked if he, as a town resident and veteran, would be able to apply for one of the units.

They said he could apply, but his priority would be at the very bottom, as "Protected Classes" would be taken care of first.

In nuclear reactors, they have control rods inside the reactors to keep them from going supercritical. If you pull out those control rods quickly, the swift runaway critical reaction of the nuclear material will instantly boil any water in a water-cooled reactor, and if not addressed instantly, can cause a wide variety of terrible outcomes, none of them minor.

When I heard the Select Board answer that question from a veteran as they did, it was as if the control rods had been jerked out of my reactor and I went to an instant boil.

I went right up to the microphone, and asked the group of 1-2 dozen people on the stage: "In the context of this discussion about affordable housing units, before we vote, for the benefit of this audience, will you please define "Protected Classes" in this context?"

The hair went up on their backs, and they began looking around at each other, stammering all at once at the impoliteness of this reasonable question.

Like the lyrics in the song "Uneasy Rider" by Charlie Daniels, my question had them all out there "...stepping and fetching, like their heads were on fire and their asses was catching..."

Finally, one of them managed to blurt out "Nobody said anything about 'Protected Classes'!" and before I could retort, the Town Lawyer corrected him and said, yes, we did reference them, and here is what that means..."

I have zero doubt that every single Leftist on that stage in our Leftist town concluded I was a racist for even bringing that up. If anyone had the stones to admonish me (they didn't) my retort would have been "One of the definitions of racism is "the systemic oppression of a racial group to the social, economic, and political advantage of another", but...I didn't have to since none of them were brave enough to vocalize what they were all thinking.

When I heard them give that answer to a veteran, I knew damn well what a "Protected Class" in their parlance would be, but I felt compelled to FORCE them to say aloud what their definition was.

They like to throw that phrase "Protected Classes" around. I want to make them say aloud just what they mean.
