I think she indulges in the hippie lettuce. Her way of speaking is too slow, a little slurred, and she acts like she's laying down some serious profundities when she does her word salads. Like Christopher Moltisanti at Tony Soprano's mother's wake.

I'm surprised they let her out in public to speak when she's on something ... but the pressure she must be under when she knows she's a vacuous dope but has to act like she's presidential has to be tough.

She’s on heroin, I would bet the bank on it. Either heroin or an opioid in pill form like oxycodone or hydrocodone. Yeah I was a massive boozer as well and she ain’t drunk. She has that way too relaxed vocal fry voice and warm and fuzzy mannerisms. When I lived in New York city in the 1990s I lived next to a woman who was a junkie and I could always tell when she was high, she talked and acted exactly like this. I would be interested if Kamala ever nodded off.
