Routh attended an AZOV rally/protest and appeared in the propaganda video they made.

Some idiot on Twitter/X claimed the video clip was from a BlackRock commercial. We debunked it here on FR at the time, but "A lie can get halfway around the world before the truth can get its pants on."

Here is a photo of him in his homemade AZOV T-shirt:

Link for photo: http://web.archive.org/web/20240916190413/https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/politics/2024/09/16/ryan-routh-donald-trump-suspect-gunman-reject-ukraine-army/

BTW, NBC had the same photo last night, but replaced it with a cropped version that does not include the AZOV part.

I think most of us already figured that one out. My advice to Trump is snap out of it and hire some no chit former SEALs for protection from the Secret Service. At this rate he’s not going to make it to November 5th.

AZOV started out as a Banderite* fascist paramilitary group that was active in fomenting violence, and eventually civil war in Ukraine in 2014. The neo-Nazi aspect of AZOV and similar paramilitary outfits in Ukraine is one of the reasons the West was leery of supplying certain weapons to Ukraine back then. They were eventually incorporated into the Ukrainian military as a brigade after the invasion.

There used to be lots of news stories about them and their love of Nazi symbols before the Russian invasion of 2022, but ... See, for example:

https://www.thenation.com/article/world/azov-battalion-neo-nazi/

Zelensky ran on a peace ticket promising to implement the Minsk Agreement and won 70% of the vote. The Ukrainian people wanted peace. When Zelensky went to the front to try to get AZOV to comply with the agreed ceasefire, they laughed at him and mocked him. The video is painful to watch. Just before the Russian invasion, his popularity had slid all the way down to 20%, between his failure to deliver the peace he promised and corruption scandals. See:

https://thegrayzone.com/2022/03/04/nazis-ukrainian-war-russia/

The above is not always considered the most reliable source, but I have thoroughly checked this story out.

*The current crop of Banderites hate ethnic Russians way more than Jews, but the originals during the Nazi era loved slaughtering both.

It’s similar to, but not exactly the same as, the fascist Ustase (Nazi) reemergence in Croatia in the 1990s, when the latter-day version was more interested in persecuting and slaughtering Serbs than Jews (hardly any Jews left in Croatia after WWII anyway — back during WWII they ran death camps for Serbs that horrified even their SS minders, while handing their Jews over the Germans for shipment by train to their infamous camps).

He does have a talent for being photographed, in his photos he always seems able to maximize the visual accessories that help him stand out, look at his sun glasses, the scarf, the balance of the poster and tee shirt, even the hair, and he colors his hair at times, it is easy to see why photographers notice him, especially him being the American and English speaker at foreign demonstrations.

Precisely. He went to great lengths to get noticed, and he did. Even at a fascist AZOV demonstration. It was funny he wrote “AZOVs” with an “S” on his T-shirt. What a moron.

Is there a different company Azov Steel?
It looks like the t-shirt might say “Azov Steel” just like the poster does.

The Sea of Azov is right by Crimea - a finger of the Black Sea.

The sprawling Azov Steel Plant (aka Avostal) in Mariupol is where the AZOV Battalion holed up when the Russians were taking the city early in the war. There is a network of tunnels and bunkers under the plant built during the Cold War to protect the workers there in case of nuclear attack.

After 80 days, they finally surrendered to the Russians in May of 2022. The photo was likely taken during the seige of the plant.

Yes, AZOV is named after the Sea of Azov. AZOV’s home base was once in Mariupol, which is on the northern coast of that sea.

They don’t come any kookier than this guy. No wonder the state department and alphabet agencies never pursued him, they thought he was one of them.

Rofl!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more bizarre:

Neighbor of accused Trump gunman Ryan Wesley Routh says family was ‘weird,’ kept ‘live horse’ and guns in their house

Link: https://nypost.com/2024/09/17/us-news/neighbor-of-accused-trump-gunman-ryan-routh-says-family-was-weird/

Now when your purple-haired neighbor says you’re weird, you’re weird, man, really weird.

And another thing. We all figured the charge for “possessing weapon of mass destruction” must have referred to the machine gun, as nothing else was ever mentioned.

I noticed this in this fox article, never seen it anywhere else:

“He was later convicted of possession of a weapon of mass death and destruction, making him unable to lawfully own guns. The weapon was a homemade bomb with a 10-inch detonation cord and blasting cap, according to authorities.”

No mention of when, where, why, nothing. Curious. Maybe he had a stump in his yard and was going to use the Redneck Method. Or maybe he was up to something evil. Or maybe Fox made an error. Odd, at any rate.

The steel plant in Mariupol

Russian ethnic Ukes surrounded it maybe 20 months ago

Uke elements ran to the tunnels

With hostages

Those men and women were mostly Azov

They gave up when their leaders surrendered to Russia etc and they paraded them out

Azov has been around in various forms since before we engineered the maiden coup there

Pretty sketchy bunch with glaring neo Nazi tendencies and affections

That’s a quick skinny from only memory

Nope, nothing.

Maybe no jail or fine if a stump that needed blowing up was present and the sheriff’s boys were country boys, too.

😅😆😄

Sad that there are so many people who think the false story of “BlackRock ad” is more shockng than true story of fascist AZOV video.

My best to you and yours!

needs to fact check himself.

Too late, the BlackRock commercial error regarding Routh is ingrained, that will be repeated over and over again.

Routh was social media pals with Soo Kim, a RAND Corporation Policy Analyst and former CIA analyst.

Trump Assassin Connections To CIA!

Some folks captured Routh’s social media.
