Why would USA get involved when they actually did participate in a raid on the palace in a real coup attempt the father of one of the accused is the mastermind of the raid. They are guilt, don’t do the crime of you can’t do the time. This is not a matter for the state dept to get into.

Joy Reid’s father is from the Congo and her mother from Guyana. Both were in college in the US where they met at the University of Iowa. Her father was mostly absent and her mother eventually divorced him. Her mother died of breast cancer and her aunt raised her.
She has no roots as a descendent of enslaved people in this country and but still refers to herself as “a descendant of American slavery.”
She also had said that she “literally, physically built this country.” and thus is owed reparations money.
