If CNN edited the content, it becomes their product. If they sold that product for commercial air time, the value of that time constitutes an in-kind campaign contribution. The GOP should therefore sue.

The Trump/Harris interview should be live not just say “Live” on the bottom right of the screen like this “interview” - this interview was recorded AND edited before being aired. Yet down on the right of the scroller it says “Live”
So I’m guessing the same will apply to the Trump/Harris and Timmy debate. Yet Trump is going along with this ruse?
Since the conditions (”rules”) of the “debate” have changed Trump should not proceed.
Perhaps if Trump demands that his campaign make a comparative recording and video of this debate for forensic purposes and witnessed by auditers assuring accuracy it might jolt the whole affair back to an actual live one-on-one setting with an audience in attendance.
So far this affair is untenable and either be up front or canceled altogether.
I have read and heard about other interviews in the past that were canceled by the media after the interviewee insisted upon having their own recording made in addition to the interview. Calling their bluff if you will...
On another note, now that Joe’s dropped out, and it can no longer hurt his chances, where’s the Hur interview?

Garland should be compelled to produce that interview, or be locked up, until he does.
Could a case be made that by not at least a full Transcript only an edited version that CNN is acting as a promoter/agent/promoter of the Harris’ campaign and must legally declare that they are so?
