Many thanks for posting this.
I saw Sen. John F. Kennedy speak at a shopping center before he was the nominee and was about 2 feet away as he was driven past me on the curb to leave.
When RFK was shot I was watching TV and couldn’t believe the nightmare was true.
May God protect Donald Trump, RFK,Jr. and their supporters.
You’re a lucky man. The only Kennedy I saw live was Ted, helicoptered in to a J.M. Fields parking lot in ‘62 to hawk for the local Congress candidate, I was 8 and rode my bike the couple miles to the site. The only one of his generation who didn’t die before his time.
On similar note, I watched Doctor Phil with the stars of the movie REAGAN. very good and reference to Trump. That looked like a lot of voters for Trump.
Hopefully, this helps to bring back that Camelot era vibe that we remember.
I was seven, home with the mumps, watching TV when the news broke of JFK’s assassination . I remember people in the streets crying and hugging. It was very traumatic for the country. It took a while for the country to get over it.
Remember this? I heard this a hundred times on the country music station my dad listened to.
