Perhaps we might be surprised at who specifically that person was, as in not the guy they say was the shooter?
There is analysis of the shooting that suggest strongly that all of Crooks’ shots missed DJT and that the shot that killed him as well as the shot that hit DJT’s ear came from behind Crooks in a straight line .Had Crooks been hit in the head he would have been dead instantly and would not have bled out. If he was, indeed, it in the back of the neck just below the skull he would have taken a couple of minutes to actually die and would have bled copiously which he did. And his teeth were in front of his face, knocked out from behind. The claimed shot to the head would not have disturbed the teeth unless low in which case the teeth would have been blown back into the throat. The pictures show the teeth.
