The problem is that the forces that be will do whatever their paymasters tell them to do. That’s almost always the case. Resistance by those on the payroll is very unlikely.

“Any government that controls anything is tyranny.”

***************

The operative word here is ‘control’. There’s a big difference between governing and controlling/ruling.

Power corrupts. Always has, always will.

Thanks to Woodrow Wilson, U.S. soldiers died saving England twice already. We should not sacrifice U.S. soldiers to save England a third time from their own stupidity.

Their good and brave men left there after 1607 to come here. Another bunch died in the two world wars. Now they have few but dweebs, yobs and toffs.

“That’s daft. Any government that controls anything is tyranny.”

Yes, it definitely is daft. But... in case you haven’t noticed... at least half of this nation qualifies as “daft” under my or under ANY definition. Remember, they approved of and voted ‘for’ the Patriot Act after 9/11.

Benjamin Franklin on sacrificing freedom for security -
“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety” is a quote and motto attributed to Benjamin Franklin.

I wonder if Starmer realizes a lot of the people he’s demonized and oppressed are traditional Labour voters...and that as a result the Labour party is utterly effed now?

The election is not for another 5 years. Maybe he'll hope that people will forget.

You’re preaching to the choir. We’re on the same page.
👍

This time next year we’re going to see Red States openly talking about leaving the Union, especially if Trump has become a martyr.

I rest my case.

Numerous have been arrested for doing absolutely nothing but observing.

This is an attempt to crush the civil unrest going on up and down the country. All it will accomplish, at best, is to put a lid back on the pressure cooker. It’s going to blow. He’s empowered Muslim mobs to go around beating up white people.

It’s just a matter of time before the wrong group does the wrong thing, then it’ll explode. The PM is just ignoring the frustrations of millions.

I'm sure that's what he and the rest of the Labour leadership will start hoping once they calm down a little. Right now they're letting their blinding hatred of the White working class show for all to see. Their problem is nobody is going to forget....or forgive.

They're right truly effed. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of c**ts.

Uh... the commies are only effed if they give up the power they’ve just gained. Commies never give up power without an awful lot of bloodshed. And quite frankly, I don’t think the people in the UK are up to it. They have become sheeplefied.

“Commies never give up power without an awful lot of bloodshed.”

They did all over Eastern Europe and half of Germany back in the early ‘90s. Some bloodshed, but not an awful lot. Ceausescu got offed, and a few others, but it was done quickly and with little bloodshed.

The commies are not deeply entrenched in England or the US, and in the US, four students killed in Ohio was treated as if it were the end of the world. England has literally centuries of experience at struggling for civil rights and democracy. In the end, they were able to win mostly without bloodshed. If Starmer decides to do a Tien An Men Square, that’ll be the end of Labour.

Well, I certainly hope that your take is the correct one. But I remain doubtful, considering what I’m seeing around the globe currently. It appears to me that they are making a more forceful push towards fulfilling their agenda (like stealing the last presidential election, for instance)... here and in the UK and elsewhere (See: Venezuela). Whether it will be a successful “final” push, or not, remains to be seen.

And... even if the approved term in the UK is not “commies”... it is still the same tyranny from the same radical left behind it all.

It would be nice if the blue states would start leaving but they love the federal largesse, the supportive national media, and a tiered legal system that favors them so I guess that’s unlikely.

That’s right. Big government and all it’s control and power is their god.

Micah 5:8
And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver

We should take ownership of our blue states and drench them red again!

The schism in this country is fundamentally between people who cherish freedom and individual liberties versus those who want sweeping centralized control. Basically limited government versus a big overbearing one.

I don’t see how these diametrically opposed views (i.e., those who want freedom vs. those who want control) can be reconciled.

They think it’s ripe for a communist takeover. They think the few “right wing extremists” are not enough to worry about. Fortunately they forgot about rural areas in all the countries. I don’t know where this is headed, I wish there was more I could do. I hate that this is happening when I’m too old to help.

We’ll never be able to co-exist with people who want to destroy us and all we stand for.
