I haven’t heard any more on this story, much like the cop who was boosted up to the roof, but if is true - yep somebody paid. I don’t think they allow oopsies in the stock market.
But on the other hand, if someone HAD prior knowledge, you can bet almost any stock in the market would drop sharply on such a shock - so shorting Nvidia it would be a lot less transparent than shorting DJT.
