If hamas is no more, who is still holding the hostages?
I hope so
The foreign minister of UAE a few years ago gave this advice how to deal with fundies besides buying them off
He was erudite and prescient
We should listen
These nuts are a danger to gulf monarchs too
Hezbollah is a different and much larger threat
Hard to wipe out short of occupying Lebanon and Syria
Modern Muslim Middle Easterners are not too bright - Iranians excepted. Their IQ lags behind other countries. I would not put too much stock in what they say.
The diehards underground I guess
ROFLMAO! Yeah, right!
“If hamas is no more, who is still holding the hostages?
“
Some of the hostages were being held in private homes. Hamas is a name for an essentially crowd sourced insurrection. Someone night go out and be a Hamas terrorist one day and a cab driver the rest of the week. Anytime he wants to rape or loot, he’s again Hamas. There’s no uniform, no roster, nothing to identify him.
Also, it’s likely most of the hostages are dead. Imagine the upkeep on keeping a live Worman in your closet 24/7. There’s feeding, bathroom duty and medical. Too maintenance to keep going for long.
He’s Israeli. So your point?
The Houtis have to wait their turn.

My sensei told me that when you open up a man’s jugular vein, they will often walk around and do ridiculous things until they bleed out. If you open their carotids, they die instantly. So Hamas is finished, albeit with a severed jugular, but their carotids are still pumping blood up to their brains, so they’re still running around, sort of like a flicked chicken.
They’re here in the US.
Trump will put paid to them, if the country survives ‘til January 20. By all means, feel free to sashay on down to the Rio Grande and take out the Coyotes as they convey their charges across, and then stampede the said charges back across to Mexico.
Some years ago Israel had a buffer force called the South Lebanese Army which Israel supported, but then that was ended the terrorists were able to move up to the border. Does anyone recall why that happened?
Like getting rid of roaches when you live in a big city. They always come back eventually.
Go crawl back under your rock, jackass.
MBS is the smartest one.
Other Gulf Arabs are decadent and idealistic. They believe in supporting their "brothers" in Gaza. But no way they will invite the refugees to live in their countries in the Gulf. They're too radical.
The SLA was mainly Lebanese Christian militia formed to fight off the PLO, who were exiled (fled) there after they tried to overthrow the Jordanian crown government. It was a very bloody civil war both in Jordan, and then in Lebanon. US marines were also involved in Lebanon culminating with the attack on our Marine barracks by, I think, Hezbullah who was just starting to grow in size in support of the PLO. Reagan pulled us out right away. Eventually the PLO was taking so many losses they fled to Tunis if I recall correctly and set up training camps in the desert. Hezbullah became the main enemy of Israel and the SLA. The Israeli people eventually began to think of Lebanon as their version of Vietnam - they had occupied and been fighting directly and indirectly for some 20 years, and by the mid 1990s they did the (crazy) Oslo deal and installed the PLO in Ramallah. In 2000 Israel completely pulled out of Southern Lebanon. Many of the SLA had to flee as well, since they had no cover from the Israelis, some SLA fled to Israel and to other countries. Hezbullah, fully backed by Iran and theologically aligned with Iran and Hamas, filled the void left by Israel, the SLA and PLO’s absence. They are a formidable force - hardened and well armed - and not particularly well liked by many everyday Lebanese people. Neither the Israelis, Lebanese or Hezbullah want to go full scale. Lebanon is barely holding on as a country, not even recovered from the conflagration in 2006, the people don’t want another round of that.
They're long since dead.
