They can’t put up somebody decent. No dem wants what has become a roadkill candidacy. That was just due to Biden’s debate failure. The “assassination bounce” for President Trump put a stake through the heart of any dem hopes in this one. Any dem with a chance is now looking to run in 2028.

That's exactly it - it was a task to find someone batcrap crazy enough to play second banana to a walking cadaver. It was a NOPE from anyone truly viable who treasured their name and career. The real trick would be finding someone batcrap crazy enough to want to be her VP.
