The Secret Service identified the rooftop next to Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania event as a security vulnerability days before the rally according to a new report by NBC News.
The agents failed to secure the building so a man with a rifle was able to climb up to the roof, position his scope, and fire several shots at President Trump.
A bullet grazed Trump’s right ear. Two rally attendees were wounded. One Trump supporter was fatally shot.
President Trump told former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson that a last millisecond head tilt saved his life after a gunman opened fire on him from an elevated position at his Pennsylvania rally.

Not the point I was trying to make. I was hinting at something much more nefarious.
I used to be like a squirrel. My brother and I used to compete on how high we could climb our nearby Douglas Fir trees. For the 40 foot ones, I would slide onto the limbs and go branch by branch down to the ground. After taking risks (like climbing microwave towers) on the job, I lost my daring nature.
This subject is moot because Law enforcement officers confirmed to ABC News the building where Crooks opened fired at Donald Trump was the building being used as a staging area for a local police tactical team. According to a source who spoke with ABC News, Crooks did not use a ladder to get access to the roof. Nobody thought to guard the roof because they figured the only access was thru the inside of the building where there would be members of the tactical team. I’m sure being up there on that hot roof discouraged those from going up there. How Crooks figured out how to get up there with his rifle, without being detected, remains to be understood.
Both? It’s not what you’re feeling that counts. It’s how you handle the stress. Improvise, adapt, and overcome. The marines teach it. We all just gotta learn it. Be safe. Regards.

Sec Service owns any event site it guards. No matter what assets they use, local, country, state, federal the Sec Service is in overall command of securing the site. They left it uncovered. That is wholly their failure.
We’ve heard for some time now, either indirectly or directly, that Trump “needs to be taken out.”
What better way to increase the chances than by providing little to no real security at a Trump rally?
