Well, one thing I did learn is that due to an easement, the kids did have the right to fish on that lake.
The section of the water way behind the HOA is called Stony Point. It is NOT listed on the public access list at the TN fishing and licensing website.
Further, the HOA does not appear to have any common area parcels along the shoreline in the Knox County CAD, which means that was PRIVATE property they were trespassing on.
If one of those kids had been hurt, the homeowner and/or HOA could be sued.
Thought we gave a darn about the rule of law and property rights around here.
