Who Gave the Order to Threaten Nuclear War Last Week?
Flopping Aces ^ | 06-30-24 | Scott Malensek

Last Tuesday Vladamir Putin sent a nuclear submarine to the Gulf of Mexico. It arrived in Cuba for a rare port visit. A Russian naval task force joined it for an even more rare port visit. The next day, an American nuclear attack submarine docked in Guantanamo Bay for perhaps the first time. It had been trailing the Russian sub-ready to kill it at any given moment. Patriot Surface to Air Missile Batteries were setup on Florida beaches to stop any missiles launched from the Russians. USAF units were placed on alert as well.

In response, the United States Navy had a nuclear "boomer" submarine surface at the northern most tip of the Norwegian Sea; considered "Russia's Backyard." A nuclear "boomer" is a submarine capable of launching nuclear ballistic missiles deep into a foreign country. This particular American submarine had more firepower on it than was used by all the nations of the world in WWII COMBINED! If it launched its missiles that close to Russia, Putin and other Russian leaders would have seconds-at best-to react.

It's a typical, nuclear "show of force"; a demonstrable threat to use nuclear weapons, and the Biden Administration has done more of these in the past year, than all our other Presidents combined. Well, someone has. Joe's been on vacation more than half the time he's been President. Is he giving the order, or just rubber-stamping whatever steps towards nuclear war the generals want to make?

Vladamir Putin was not pleased, not surprised, and not overly upset, but he made it a point to remind the world that the United States and NATO were actively provoking a WWIII, a nuclear war in Ukraine. In the Middle East the US and West are fully at war with Yemen and all of Iran's proxies. In the Pacific, Chinese and Russian fleets are swarming Taiwan and the Phillipine Sea even as special Chinese cargo ships are moved into pre-invasion positions, and the Chinese army is practicing on full size replica buildings found in Taipei. (The world is not a peaceful place right now, and rocking the boat is a bad idea).

There was no response or threat at all from President Biden. He was sequestered for the week to prepare for his debate. 51 million people watched the debate. In its wake, no one with an iota of intelligence can believe that Joe Biden spent that time preparing for the debate when he was most likely sleeping; not doing his job as President in any way, shape, or form.

America and the world were staring down loaded guns, missile, and ballistic missiles that are so close to the United States they might as well skip any warning. If Russia (or any hostile regime) wanted to attack the US, they could have done so successfully-probably without even a "C'mon from Pres Biden."

Heck, there's chaos when a traffic light at an intersection no longer works. Imagine the flip-out if Facebook ceased, if satellite television went dark. EBT/welfare offline - it'd be like "Festival" in the Return or the Archons episode from the old Star Trek show. It wouldn't take much to set off a domino effect ordeal of unrest and tribulation since contemporary American society is less intelligent less resilient than in the past and the more urban the environment the worst it would be. Adversaries don't have to over extend or over expose themselves to wreak simple havoc here.

“I think marauders would rule, because much of the LEO would be trying to look out for their families.“

Most people don’t think about this: when things fall apart, the police will be looking out for their own families and friends. Worst case, they become another gang.

USS Helena at Gitmo is a 38 year old- LA class fast attack nuclear sub- with nuke torpedos probably cruise, also. No SLBMs. Coordinate with, the P-8s. Did so— “loudly” in case these clowns weren’t paying attention on a vodka jag. The Ghorskov no doubt got the message, in the foolish flotilla of three.

You left out the Canadians- both in Havana with the K-561 tub with broken anechoic plates in plain view. Canadian Frigate Ville de Quebec outside Havana entry ways, and patrol boat Margaret Brooke invited in by the Cubans in love of Justin Castreau (Fidel’s illegitimate son). tied up across from the Kazan, and the Gorshkov.

SSBN “surfacing” was— somewhere (whereever CentCommand wanted it to be) and, highly unlikely. The Normandy is part of CSG 12 with the Gerald Ford. CSGs do not have ballistic missile boats in their midst. 2 attack boats typically. So this was great PR fun.

EW comments— no comment.

Oh please. Boomer chess games. Putlim’s the one making mistakes, giving up his sub signatures for visits to failed commie partners.

What is worthwhile in this Ace’s blog is the notion, that xiden has not spoken with Putin over all his rattling- instead seemed to entertain rattling sabers that really DO scare the crap out of the poorly run defense apparatus of Russia. Because Putin knows Xiden is a gibberish speaking idjit, and Putin was not afraid of Obamaumao one little bit- all the stare down photos they tried to make obi-wan look like a tough guy. He ended up looking like the skinny mack daddy bi/queer Marxist muzzie that he is.

You’re exactly right. And imagen what happens when they activate the terrorist Sleeper Cells that have been mingled in with the millons of invaders coming across our border.

Call 9-11? Lol Law enforcement and first responders would end up at home protecting their families.

You are right that we are getting closer to nuclear war. It is still avoidable, but that is likely to change if we are the first nation to advance to full AGI. If we get real close to AGI before anyone else, Russia and China will have to make a decision: Let us develop into the first AGI power on earth or stop us beforehand.

Advanced AI gives it holder tremendous ability to move very fast in science and engineering. The first nation to develop full AGI will soon be able to achieve AGI supremacy. AGI supremacy puts a nation in a completely different technological and military class than everyone else. A nation with such an advantage is untouchable by other nations with pre-AGI weapons, while at the same time all other nations are helpless to in the face of our weapons.

It may sound like a desirable state for us, but it is extremely undesirable for countries in the inferior position. If you have AGI supremacy, you have the ability to prevent other nations from developing it themselves as a trivial cost to yourself. It would be very stupid, strategically speaking, to allow others to have the same, near ultimate power you have. AGI will allow the creation of offensive weapons that are more effective than the atomic bomb, and defensive capabilities almost beyond our imagination.

Putin has indicated in the past he understands the value of high level AI for controlling the world, so likely China understands this as well.

If we do not have a AGI non-proliferation framework in place very soon, China and Russia will likely feel they have no choice, from their point of view, but to preemptively attack us to prevent the U.S. from developing AGI supremacy.

You’re not thinking straight if you think Biden can handle a nuclear threat.

The US has never had this level of absolutely terrible “leadership” They’re extremely dangerous.

Here is a good image of where the SSBN surfaced. The Navy doesn’t give out the position of it’s boomers and only surfaces them for photo ops to send a political message. The E6B was according to international air codes transmitting it’s ADSB ident every second and those transponder pings are picked up by iridium satellites in real time and publicly available with a subscription. Look at the image of the ENd right over the SSBN this was done on purpose it sends a signal that the boat was in constant communication with NCA and could launch in a few min notice. Then look at the flight path of the EB6 it’s self evident where the sub surfaced for the meet up. Flight time from that location of a Trident D5 on a depressed trajectory to Moscow is under 3 minutes let that sink in. Those MIRV are also moving at mach 18 at skimming just over the atmosphere in a depressed trajectory to Moscow radar intercept window is 30 seconds warning, then launch windows at most a four Trident volley would take 2 min to launch with 30 second gaps between them. That would put 20+ mach 18 warheads over Moscow over a 2 min window 80% or more would get through the missile defense system located around Moscow. It’s a huge FLEX what the Navy did right in Russia’s backyard.

The scary part for the Russians and why they modernized their nuclear weapons is the D5 is capable and during the cold war did carry 14 warheads each not the 4-5 we downloaded them to for the SALT treaty nonsense. A four middle volley from that distance in the cold war would put 56 MIRV over Moscow and they would have been the high yield versions not the low yield that replaced them. We also tested the MARK 500 evader MARV package add-on to the base end of trident MIRVs turning each warhead into a hypersonic guided weapon with 100G maneuvers being publicly known about. No missile system on earth could then or now hit a mach 10+, 100G evading target. This scared the Soviets so much it drive them to the table for the last SALT treaty where we neutered the D5 into its current form. The D5 was the worlds best first strike weapons system and it petrified the Russians. My dad used to make in his words crowd pleasers in the Texas panhandle as a nuclear engineer during the cold war I remember the security protocols even family members had to take. To this day he cannot leave the country without notifying the DOS first. We went on trips to Europe in the 1980s with minders he is one of the few men on earth who could make a functional device from memory when the DOS notice to leave our borders.

This is a lame process article. Nothing in here has not happened before. If you think this is the first time a Soviet boomer has surfaced in Cuba since Red October before you were born, you are a Freeptard.

The Silent Service is silent on the entire matter. Except for the photo from GITMO- fast attacks are not strategic- but they were showing what they knew was not detected— in their “baffles” so to speak. Not for the first time, but first time in public. No way the Tennessee was “paraded” whether or not it was “packing” 20 4-MIRV’d SLBMs. Photo is a composite, very well done.

The E6 unnecessary and likely not there- really- showing a roundtrip from Oslo? The P-8 was the overlayed Norwegian P-8 to enable an “E6” to be present. Norway has P-8s, and they train in Jax,FL all the time. Entire thing might be to “out” a Russian joker through this Christensen guy. Worthy of thought at any rate.

That’s the point. So close that any mistake, error or miscalculation could trigger a disaster with global consequences. Way too close to the edge.

well rest easy Bidens at the helm... /S

Yes, the results after an EMP attack could be horrible, and marauders could easily rule. I remember in the 1960s when my aunt and uncle proudly showed us their shinny new air raid shelter. We admired their kitchenet, beds, etc. THen my husband (korean War vet) asked, “where are your guns?” “Well, we don’t have any,” they responded. Yikes, my hustand and I just looked at each other.

It appears our sub had been following the Russian sub for a while, and presumably listening to any messages they sent out. The undersea tag game has been going one for quite a while. The question is, who is better at the game. Given some of Russia’s bad luck and poor recovery history with subs, I suspect we are better. I was recebtky reading a book on Bad Leadership. One example was given regarding Putin’s leadership. When their sub (I think, the Kursk) sank, we and other countries offered physical technical help to attempt immediate rescue. Putin refused any help, and when a week later they finally were able to gain entrance, all were dead. I think this was given as an example of rigid leadership.

I’m so glad I have accumulated over a year of experience living under canvas, with no electricity, cooking over a fire, and being given a pistol and lessons by my husband after our home was broken into.

Google has a lot of articles stating Trudeau is NOT the illegitimate son of Fidel Castro. Below is a link with many articles on the subject. Remember what others have said about “click bate.”
