Election Worker in Maricopa County Arrested for Stealing Security Fob and Keys From Tabulation Center Was Registered Democrat Who Filed Papers to Run for Senate, Previously Charged With a Crime (VIDEO)
New concerning details have emerged about the theft of a key fob at the Maricopa County Tabulation and Election Center (MCTEC), worrying some that Arizona election officials are plotting another stolen election starting again with the Primary.

Do the rats have the FIB putting up tarps and guarding the place again so no one can see the STEAL FOR JOE in progress?
How about that election worker getting 20 years? That’s a suitable penalty for election fraud, IMO.
“Stealing ‘Security Fob and Keys’ From MCTEC Tabulation Election Center”
So that’s how they do it.
“staff took immediate action to investigate the matter and contacted the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. The stolen item has been recovered but to ensure the integrity of Maricopa County Elections, election workers are reprogramming and re-conducting logic and accuracy testing of all equipment.”
Well...that makes everyone feel really confident, right???
Thankfully we “caught” this and we’re able to “properly” reprogram them… wink, wink. I never put anything past these Libs!
The fobs are used along with a password to log into the ballot marking devices and (big screen tablets) and the keys plus a different password plus the fob are used to log into activate and physically access the tabulators (scanners). Losing those is a big deal. Glad they found them.
In GA only the poll Mgr, assistant Mgr and specially trained device leads are supposed to even possess them. They are (supposed to be) signed out to persons A, B and C and not put down, but rather worn around the neck.
Each night they are (supposed to be) placed in a special bag that is sealed with a numbered seal, which number is recorded in the daily log.
Sloppy procedures/bad training allowed these to be misplaced. Proper daily close procedures enabled the loss to be detected. If this loss wasn’t detected until the county was receiving and inventorying at the end of the election, that’s really bad.
Now it’s doubtful any harm to the results occurred, yet this is still a serious breach. This person would only be able to physically access and open/close a poll. That’s high risk but hard to do anything with in truth.
Reprogramming along with L&A is a lot of work (I’ve done it) but frankly it’s performed before every election. New passwords would be in place but keys and fobs are not often end of life/changed.
Net: this is a BIG deal but crisis wad averted.
