Carson would be a KILLAH pick!
The tired knock against Carson is that he is too quiet and nice and not a “bulldog.” The Vice President doesn’t need to be a bulldog—Trump is his own best bulldog. Carson as VP just needs to be a quality guy that gets things done. And that he is.
Carson would be a great pick. A good man, through and through. Brilliant, too.
Ben is the only name on the short list that I trust.
I wouldn’t mind this ticket at all. Honestly, of all the possible picks I’ve heard of, none od them (beside Nikki Haley) really bother me. I’m least thrilled about long term politicians but even Rubio has many positives. Noem, with the dog issue, has no issue. The media will make everything an issue with any Trump VP. I would expect them to say Carson plagiarized his thesis if he’s selected. They’ll also start trying to find a malpractice angle.
His bio is worthy of a quick refresher. An interesting man with a streak of independence in there that I find refreshing. For those that want a “mini-me” Ben may not be your guy but it seems he generally and naturally aligns with Trump.
However Ben hasn’t struck me as an impressive politician. He is more of an anti-politician and shares some of that with Trump although their styles are opposite.
But Ben may be helpful in getting Trump elected.

I'm hoping for an out of the box Tucker Carlson type of pick for VP.
Ben can certainly play an important role but not as the torch bearer going forward.
The fake news couldn’t lay a glove on Carson. He’s roll model for the black community. Grows up in the ghetto and becomes a renowned surgeon. A great pick.
