I didn’t feel it in Torrance. We do sometimes feel quakes from that Newport – Inglewood fault line. They are typically hard snaps, not rollers, because they are so near to us.

daughter felt it in Newport.. there were 3609 reported DYFI... so not a real significant quake. I did not feel anything in La Verne, Calif... wouldn't have expected to feel that small...
I follow quakes online and have for years. I keep the monitors going 24/7.
This wasn't out of the norm for sure.

IIRC the big Long Beach quake was on the Newport Inglewood fault.
