Wrong.
The Ukrainian constitution is not subject the opinions of foreign pundits or internet forums. Legally, Ukraine can't hold elections while the country is under invasion and at war.
Ukraine would not be in this position if Russia had not invaded. A fact that gets rather selectively ignored.

I think Valerii Zaluzhnyi is a realist. He will try to achieve the most favorable outcome for his country. I don’t think he’ll want to fight to the last Ukrainian. But Zelensky will. The problem is that the Russians are willing to sacrifice to win the war.
