Here’s how the Dems did it. They hid a federal law until the defense had rested and then stated that Trump had broken that law (never mentioned during the trial) and that was the underlying law that makes all the other charges criminal. They said Trump used all those other actions to hide the federal law he broke.
The court is a State court leaning on a federal law to get a conviction. Will it stand? I have no clue.
As I understand the "crime".... by hiding the hush money payment he effected the results of the 2016 election. So I'm wondering when Biden gets prosecuted for hiding the Hunter laptop story. They will say he didn't personally hide the story, but that's not the standard Trump was held to. Oh I forgot he is just a doddering old fool that can't be prosecuted.
