Former President Donald Trump issued a sharp and devastating comeback to Robert De Niro after the aging actor delivered an unhinged rant outside a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump slammed ‘TDS sufferer’ De Niro, whose remarks were drowned out by car alarms, a helicopter, and MAGA supporters.

LOVE this!!!
“Trump wrote on Truth Social:
“I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was.”
“Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA.”
I was watching the news this morning and saw some guy in New York City calling De Niro a “mook”.
That’s a new one on me. Is this a New York thing or...?
Somehow DeNiro thinks he is somehow relevant to anyone other than his sycophants.
were there any biden supporters at the biden press conference?
i mean, other than the press
Today Trump said DeNiro was “Maga-tized” yesterday. I think this one needs to be repeated over and over again.
Merriam-Webster defines a mook as “a foolish, insignificant, or contemptible person”. Seems to describe De Niro pretty well.
I don’t know if the word is used mostly in New York or not. I don’t recall hearing anyone use it, but I’ve lived almost entirely in the Northwest and Southwest.
“The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and sub-literate every time he/she opens his/her mouth.”
— Robert A. Heinlein
Mook: word of the day!
It didn’t even occur to me to look in a dictionary. Thank you. It seemed like slang to me.
And you’re right, it fits De Niro to a tee.
Means the same as a jamoke or mope or Jagoff does in Chicago area
“I don’t know if the word is used mostly in New York or not.”
It is a NY thing, and it’s a huge insult from one Italian to another...
“Mook” seems an appropriate term. IIRC it was Hillary’s campaign manager Robby Mook who first floated the entire Russia-Russia-Russia nonsense to the press. This definition fits him perfectly as well.
He just makes a big noise when he is surrounded by his peeps and security.
Yep- He’s like a squeaky toy clown that sounds off whenever he gets squeezed
Urban Dictionary...
MOOK
‘n. Italian-American short form of malook, motherf***#r 1. a person of little social standing, one not worthy of respect. 2. an affectionate term for a regular guy, one who is unpretentious. 3. an incompetent person.”
Someone should have flipped a quarter to him and said “go downtown and get a rat to chew that thing off your face”
