“Nullification” is the wrong word. Jury nullification means the jury voted to acquit even though the prosecution had proved its case. Here, we just need the jury to do its job and vote for an acquittal based on the lack of evidence.

Biden has had his address written. Merchan has had his sentence written. The jury has had their verdict written. All before the trial even started. This is all a show to lock up Trump. There is zero chance Trump does not go to prison. That Mosby c you next Tuesday commited actual crimes and will walk free. Trump did nothing but will get max sentence for each fake felony where there has been no crime even specified. Kafka is Baluchi g and Beria is proud .
I think Trump gets some form of immunity from the Supreme Court.
It may be a shaky parallel, but in the case regarding Democratic state officials trying to remove Trump from the ballot or otherwise disqualify him, a unanimous Supreme Court ruled that a patchwork of individual rules in a national election were unworkable.
I think the Court will at least strike down local and state efforts like Bragg’s so called hush money trial. If Presidents are subject to prosecution by city, county or state prosecutors then there will be an unending parade of partisan show trials.
I think Special Prosecutor Jack Smith faces other issues, and I think that case will be decided in Trump’s favor also.
Unlikely in my view.

I can see this creep hanging on, tooth and nail, to the very end, with his redefinitions of rules.
I doubt if the jury is (1) sophisticated enough, nor (2) inclined to give Trump the benefit of jury nullification.

Merchan’s goal is to get a guilty verdict. Merchan doesn't care if it is overturned. A guilty verdict will be blasted over the airways 24/7 even after it is overturned.
Question, how long will an appeal take? Until after the election?
