Never gonna happen. The fed keeps low artificial interest rates. Market rates would skyrocket and destroy current mortgage and housing ecosystems to start. A free market would be awesome, but its a rigged environment now toward asset incumbents, there is no way the gop or trump would turn over that table.

The Fed controls short term rates and has created massive inflation by keeping them artificially low and not raising them enough because it’s an election year.

At the very least Trump will weaken the Fed and clean them out.
