If even ONE count is a hung jury, does that create a mistrial for the whole case and require starting over? What about if they convict him as guilty on some and hung jury on others?

No, a jury can partially convict. It would be a mistrial on the undecided counts only.
I can’t see that happening here, since all the charges are the same, just for each individual document. No way people are going to be convinced on some of the documents and not others.
Thank you for the i nsight. I didn’t think it made sense for cookie cutter charges x 34 to be decided differently.
That makes my guess/hope for at least some jurors holding out not guilty on all 34 to mistrial it.

Yeah, Chauvin was a surprise to me, because they packed the jury with people that probably threatened abstainers.
Just for the record, I’m getting sick and tired of people like Bill Maher and Megan Kelly, saying that they would bet money... yes bet money that Trump had sex with the porn star.
I would bet all the money I have that he didn’t.
