There most likely civilizations on other planets across the galaxy and universe but they live under the same physical laws that we do do the distances between use are so immense as to be near impossible to conquer. For all intents and purposes we are trapped inside our solar system, interstellar travel is not for us or for our descendants perhaps forever.
They’ve conquered the art of bending space and time. That’s how they can travel great distances with ease.
