If they found he did something wrong, a district attorney will charge him with something like involuntary manslaughter and take a plea for a couple of years at most. If something like this were to occur with an average citizen, we would be looking at 50 years or more in Florida.

It is still the Police investigating. The end results will be the same. Unless the higher ups want to get rid of same cop, the results will always be: No Departmental rules were violated. It is the same principle as the AFL investigating the CIO for a Labor Law violation versus the Company. It is still a Whitewash of the event.
