The idea embraced by many Evangelicals that somehow America’s or the future of other Western nations is bound up in how much they “bless” Israel, even to the detriment of their own people.
Rather than what the future of America, and the future of the Christian West really depends on, which is being God-fearing nations.
I think we should help Israel where we can. But they are an separate nation, and separate country with their own interests and own needs which we should not be automatically subservient to.
We should not be sabotaging them or stabbing them in the back, but we should not be fighting their wars for them, paying for their military, giving them free weapons, doing massive wars and Regime Changes like Iraq and Syria and Iran, which may be in their interest, but is not in our interest to do - given the cost.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
This is how the West treats its own people. And the elites of the West, especially the “conservative” elites seem to believe that they will not be judged for it if they “bless” Israel enough.

I’d say at LEAST 1/4 of our State Dept. is heavily anti-Israel. That really started with Obama, but also comes with the schooling a lot of these turds got. The sentiment is not confined to the State Dept., of course.
That said, the even bigger contingent are not actually Israel haters, they are the “political risk management” / “kick the can down the road” crowd. These are the people who, for example, correctly assess that having the Houthis and Iran disrupt shipping in the ME is hugely problematic, but send only a token force to try to play defense. Or in general play carrot and twig with Iran.
The article title correctly said “Biden Administration”. It’s pretty much the whole damn thing that is the problem.
What? We (USA) will be “providing” for “its own” over $6 trillion this year. Hell, that is the biggest problem of all: A culture of gov’t dependency.
In any event, this is not about “blessing Israel”. It is about keeping savages at bay. Dead, preferably.
