Case in point: my own extended family. I was smugly called a 'tin-foil hat' and banned from all family get-togethers because of my refusal to comply and my unsuccessful efforts to talk them out of having it done. They all had the initial jab plus 2 boosters. Fast forward to today, and one has had a stroke, one 'suddenly' developed aggressive bowel cancer last year, one got Parkinson's, and one got dementia. Another one has dizzy spells if she stands up too fast, which never happened before. Far from being outraged at the government, NOT A SINGLE ONE of them has even publicly questioned if the vaxx had anything to do with their current state of health. Not a single one of them has made things up with me, and we all got along well for 60 years. I was made to feel like I was in a cult, when they were the ones acting like brainwashed cult devotees. They were completely bamboozled by the scaremongering, and I am still gobsmacked at just how easily it was accomplished on them, because I had always believed they were educated, critical thinkers.
Ditto for FB friends who were mask nazis and had their virtue-signalling banners about being vaxxed. The banners are gone, along with their posts about how people like me were the ones were putting lives at risk. From their posts now, it's like none of it ever happened. And I know that quite a few of them have had health issues 'suddenly' crop up in the last two years.
I'm not seeing any widespread outrage. Are any of you?

At work, many are Dems and swallow the Dem/*.gov lies.
Most are highly educated, more intelligent IMO than I am.
Yet, it is like in certain areas, they lack critical thinking abilities.
A neighbor, otherwise a smart guy, a “survivalist”, bought the covid jabs/boosters propaganda and got the jabs/boosters and told me that it was the social responsibility of us to do the same, to protect him/his from covid.
Of course there was the little issue of, if you are jabbed and booster and thus protected according to .gov etc, then why do your neighbors need to do the same to protect you from covid? After all, “safe & effective”, so why worry if your neighbors jab/boost also?
Anyway, though long a very healthy, athletic guy, he started having a variety of health issues, serious enough that he ended up hanging himself in his garage, despite having a good wife and a teen son.
So....how many millions of dollars with big pharma pay his family for their loss?

The only widespread reaction I’ve witnessed is a complete unwillingness to even mention COVID, the shots, the lockdowns, etc. The entire horrible episode has been memory-holed. It’s unnerving and a bad indicator of things to come.
Neither I, nor any of my friends, got the jab. I guess we’re just a bunch of rebels. I had some family members who got it. These days when I talk to those jabbed family members I tell them that I don’t have to win them over to my way of thinking - that the vax itself will eventually drag them kicking and screaming to my side.
