And I’m a big fan of red [or dark red] colored stuff [most of my vehicles and a fair amount of my upper body clothes].

Even the USA flag has a fair proportion of red content....

There was a short period of time, somewhere around 1955, the Cincinnati Reds were called the Redlegs. That was because Cincinnatians were aghast that their team had the same name as the commies.

It really got reversed in the Bush-Gore election of 2000.

Red was the color of the Left since Marx and the 1850s.

Republicans were Patriot blue.

The media reversed it all in 2000.

It is. I’ve always noticed that CNN’s back drop is black, red and white. Those were the colors of the Nazi Party. The red background, the white circle and the black swastika.
