I do not think that in any of these court cases they care if Trump wins on appeal as long as it is after the 2024 election. To me the major point of these trials is to have enough voters in this country believe that Trump is a criminal so that he loses the election.
It is about the Manhattan DA making the appeal, so that the high Court of Appeals for the State of New York, will clarify the New York State "17-152 - Conspiracy to Promote or Prevent Election" statute . . . in favor of the prosecution's [DEMOCRATS'] wish to elevate the misdemeanor to being a felony, as explained in my reply 20.
In the State of New York, the highest court in the state, is the Court of Appeals.
