There is a replacement theory not just for individual categories of people, but a bigger picture for all who previously “gained wealth on the backs of [insert grievance group(s) here]”.

Amazon and other online retailers have done more to eliminate the value of brick & mortar than the thieves. The thieves are just accelerating the process in various places.

I have to believe an unintended benefit of the crime and "work from home" revolution is a massive increase of people moving from corrupt cities to small towns and the country. The vast majority will not bring big city politics with them and they will help revitalize rural America at the expense of the elites.
