Putin is a communist. His people live under communist control. I seriously doubt they have free and fair elections.

Putin is leader of the Russia United party which holds 325 out of 450 seats in the Duma. If he were a communist he would be the leader of the communist party at the Russian Federation, which holds 25 seats. The Russian political system is a Dual Executive Republic (which, unlike us, uses paper ballots, no mail in votes and no Big Tech pulling the strings)
