Max Bialystock proved you can make money from a musical play that FAILS. BTW, the character of Bialystock is actually based on a REAL LIFE producer who did exactly that by scamming money from rich old women. In this case from scamming rich LIBERAL women.

But “Springtime for Hitler” succeeded! He had to resort to blowing up the theatre. The director is peactically mainstream these days. And then there is Olga… “go to work!” Hilarious movie.
