I used to camp out northeast of Indianapolis near Anderson. That was when I used to sell "high density" sunglasses, especially "Viper" sunglasses at car races for about six months of the year. I had a special technique for selling them in big quantities but I had to be in exactly the right frame of mind to do it. I remember I was at a car race in upstate New York and couldn't sell a single pair no matter how hard I tried because I was in an irritable mood because some noisy teenagers kept me up most of the night while I was camping out. Sooooo I hoofed quickly to the nearest liquor store and downed two of those little bottles of whiskey which put me in the proper mood. After that, I was selling the sunglasses in big quantities again. Typically I could sell over 75 pairs in an hour. And that would go on for at least 6 hours.
And now you know why I traveled the car race (Indycar once and the rest NASCAR) circuit for 6 months at a time.
p.s. I once did see an annular eclipse in Northern Indiana. However, I did experience a full TOTAL eclipse years ago.
