Just as a reminder, God sent his son, Jesus, to redeem we who are irreparably broken. We all are too broken to work our way to Him on our own. By his grace he rescues us.

Our desire should be that in our hearts he reveals to us that he can save even those whose brokenness is so visible, as many don’t appear to be what they really are and are stuck believing that they deserve to be saved. In reality, none of us do.

We should all hope for a God that can (and does!) save those who are “worthless.”
