Guyana President Mohamed Irfaan Ali obliterated a BBC reporter who accused him of contributing to climate change by allowing oil drilling off its coast.
BBC journalist Stephen Sackur slammed Ali for allowing the drilling, asking id he had the "right" to do so.
"Let's take a big picture look at what's going on here. Over the next decade, two decades, it is expected that there will be $150 billion worth of oil and gas extracted off your coast," Sackur said.

Oh ya!
The BBC clown is one rude dude.
Watch the clip and brighten your day.
Yup, sure put that AH in his place.
Great way to start my day. It would have been better, though, if he had punched that smarmy little BBC prick!
Lol. Smack Down
Love it.
This guy could wipe the floor with our climate idiots.
Communistic clap-trap versus left-wing gobbledygook.
Ali fired back. “I am going to lecture you on climate change because we have kept this forest alive that stores 19.5 gigatons of carbon that you enjoy, that the world enjoys, that you don’t pay us for, that you don’t value, that you don’t see a value in, that the people of Guyana has kept alive.” “Guess what? We have in the lowest deforestation rate in the world. And guess what? Even with our greatest exploration of the oil and gas resource we have now, we will still be net zero, Guyana will still be net zero with all our exploration,” he continued. “Are you and your system in the pockets of those who destroyed the environment through the Industrial Revolution and now lecturing us?”
Most talking heads are.
What a rude, obnoxious bunch, acting like they are the experts on everything and everyone has to answer to them.
This BBC reporter is the epitome of why so many countries hate the west now.
That smug arrogant reporter is the person who is wrong.
I hate Leftists, and I DESPISE Leftist “journalists” in particular.
The world in general, and governments in particular have ZERO business telling Guyana what it can and cannot do with its natural resources.
Lecturing them on their energy useage. What a turd.
“Let’s take a big picture look...think of it in ‘practical’ terms...”
What a smoking jackass.
What I loved was the way this guy knows that the tactics of Leftists and Journalists is to simply talk over people, and this guy just pre-empts the use of the filibuster against the dipstick.
Ha! That ‘reporter’ thought he was going to put one over on the President!
He was used to intimidating his interviewees with that crap
Wealthy eco zealots like Bill Gates always point to his carbon offsets when criticized for his lavish use of private jets. Why not Guyana? Well played prime minister.
Most plants are starved for CO2. We need much more CO2.
The President. was ready for this bbc ass but BOTH of them put aside what an absolute fraud man caused climate change is as well as the idiocy of anyone trying to account for the actual carbon exchange that occurs in nature. Not to mention that deep pockets can actually buy carbon credits.
Good job!
The British royal family probably has a bigger carbon footprint than his whole country.
When the royals agree to stop using electricity and end all their travel anywhere then they start lecturing others.
I enjoyed that. Just one problem, he still gives credence to globull warming by arguing his forests offset it. There should be no apology and no hat tip to the globull warming or climate change scam.
