It’s not the plane’s fault although the air traffic controllers should have known about the weather conditions.

Now Boeing is responsible for the quality deficiencies in the atmosphere!! HORRORS! Turbulence in the air is now caused by Boeing!! Imagine if every car accident on our roadways they used the car manufacturer in each story.

We’ve been blessed by not having a catastrophic plane crash in the last few years. Let’s keep praying.

So the plane survived severe turbulence and nobody died and this is Boeing’s fault?

Yeah, Boeing has problems but this isn’t one of them.

The main runways at EWR run almost north-south. (I used to fly out of there monthly.) If the wind is not compatible with runway orientation, there is no alternative, it’s a crosswind landing or go elsewhere. That’s what they did. Runways at JFK run almost exactly 90 degrees to those at EWR. Easy-peasy.

Yet another reminder to keep your seatbelt fastened while flying when you can.

How many of the injured didn’t have their seat belts on? I used to see this all the time, people walking around like they are on solid ground instead of 7 miles up at 600 knots sealed in a flying tube. If you don’t have a seat belt on and are injured because of turbulence it is YOUR fault, not the fault of the airline that will clearly tell you (if you listen) to keep your seatbelt fastened at all times because of unexpected turbulence.

Fly United?

No way, no how. I value my safety more than I value supporting the Didn’t-Earn-It agenda.
