But seriously, Ukraine is almost as big as Texas, and the Russians occupying that much of the border as they do are looking West, not East. Nobody built a wall at the frontier, or even a partial wall. It’s not heavily guarded, just one big sh!t show because of all the killer drones and missiles flying back and forth, so dangerous to approach. If I were a mercenary, I’d go through Georgia to the Black Sea, land my rubber dingy in Moldova, and from there cross the border to get my blood money from Zelensky.
But the whole idea is preposterous. Zelensky likely played that theatre in Moscow in better days, when he and his troupe toured Russia and Mongolia, and some of the attendees probably saw him there and laughed at his jokes. Comedians don’t go around killing theatre goers, even if they do become war-time Presidents later. Just not in the nature of comics to literally slay an audience.
