The immigrants where I am (whether legal or otherwise) have this solved......they just live 10-12 to a household and split the cost.....problem solved. 🤷

Well for this old guy planning to sell soon, I watch every day to see how much it has increased in price since 2020 and can’t help but smiling...

In the mid 80’s an 11% Mortgage rate was good. Prices will need to adjust downward soon.

I was just on the realtor.com website before you posted.

Newly constructed homes are going for $600,000-$2,000,000+. Almost all of them are larger than 5,000 square feet.

This is in the poorest large city in the United States (average household income is $54,000).

There are several in my neighborhood that just sit empty, and have been for years.

Either there will have to be a change in the way houses are constructed to lower production cost (eg 3D printing) or there will simply be a smaller number of homes built.
